How to Download Videos with Bittorrent |

Now that the Internet is so much faster than it used to be, downloading video and large amounts of data should be relatively quick, right? Well, that's kind of true but as you can see from sites like YouTube, where you can watch videos online, they're all pretty bad quality compared to what you see on TV. However, there is a solution and that's Bittorrent.
Bittorrent is a protocol or a standard that is used to share files. It is done peer-to-peer, which means you don't connect to a single server (like when browsing the net) but connect to a number of other clients or file sharers. Now, you may have heard of Limewire, eDonkey or Kazaa, which are also peer-to-peer, but Bittorrent works in a slightly different way and is much, much faster. It's faster because the protocol forces you to upload at the same time as you download. Now think of lots of people sharing the same file all uploading as they downloading (and the ones that have finished downloading are now just uploading only or seeding). This means that you can get the same parts of the file from a number of different places.

The backwards compatibility of this modern gadget implies that the user can connect online to the Virtual Consoles space of the game shops to customise his console with the games of his choice. There are a wide range of games to choose from like NES, super NES, Nintendo 64, Game Cube, Sega Genesis and Turbo Grafx16.

If you're like me, you hate having to dial into and listen to your voicemail and so when I found out about Phonetag, the new US based service that converts your voicemails to text and then uses SMS or email to send it to you, I was pretty stoked. Unfortunately, although their website shows that they support Australia, I must have been one of the first to use it as I never got the SMS feature to work. After a support request and a few emails, they got back to me saying that they have decided that they aren't able to send messages to Australia. However, I have still been able to use it with email.
